Back to Texas...

My 18 day trek to Tennessee for a complete family immersion has, sadly, come to an end. I was sure I would be ready to get back here (can I even call it home after what I left back in Tennessee?) and resume my normal life...but it was so sad to leave. I have so many happy, happy memories from this trip, though! I can't stand the thought of not posting all of my favorite pictures, so I'm going to attempt to break it up into a few posts, for brevity's sake.

Up first, highlights from leg one of my trip: GiGi and PeePaw's house! I got to spend an absolutely amazing week with my parents and hanging out with my new nephew! Maddie didn't know what to think of him...I could see the little wheels turning in her head: "Wow, what a fun new toy! Wait, I can't beat, pull, poke, bite, and scratch on him? No fair! And why are other people holding him and not me? Better pull out my repertoire of fake coughs, gags, and squeals so no one forgets me!" Gosh, my baby is SUCH a ham, and this trip totally proved it. And isn't it crazy/wonderful to hold a newborn baby when you're used to one that crawls, climbs, and rocket-launches from your arms? Ah, memories! Anyway, here are some of my favorite pictures from the first few days home...

Okay, all 3 people who read my blog...tune in next time (tomorrow, I hope) for the next installment of "How I Spent My May Vacation."

I'm number three here. Must be the last comment you're gonna get. ;) And geez! You look even thinner than the last time I saw you, and that wasn't really that long ago! Good work, girl!

word: difkqh
I stubbed my toe this morning, and in an effort not to teach Aidan a terrible word, I said, "Difkqh!"

(Also, my dad has started doing these when he comments on my posts. He's pretty good at them. Better than me, anyway.)
